Our heart is with the family of Camilo Catrillanca murdered vilely yesterday in the community Temucuicui Traditional, by the jungle command of carabineros of Chile. He simply returned home from work and found himself in an ambush. We strongly reject the entire policy of violation of Human Rights exercised by the State of Chile towards the Mapuche people. We demand from the powers of the State an impartial and autonomous investigation, capable of rigorously investigating the facts, a transparent and expeditious communication of them, justice and reparation for the Mapuche people and the family of Camilo Catrillanca, his pregnant widow and son of six years.
